About Mike Paris: I would like to introduce a short history that provided the experience that will help you realize why you should use US as your “home inspection” company. My name is Mike Paris, and I started at an early age in the construction field at 13 yrs of age. My father was in business as a Contractor and Cabinet Maker, and I began working with my Dad at 13 yrs old. After graduating high school, I continued in the construction industry from residential construction, which included the building of new homes, additions, and interior applications. I was a foreman for a large contracting firm that performed not only residential work but also industrial and commercial projects. I have also operated my own business and was a Contractor for 25 yrs in residential construction and remodeling projects in the Owensboro surrounding area.

I have been performing home inspections for over 23yrs and served this area longer than any other company as a home inspector. I feel that a home inspector’s experience is a very important part of his knowledge as a home inspector. I am a “certified” home inspector with “International Association of Certified Home Inspectors” InterNACHI, in which we perform additional certifications for providing our clients with the latest and most valuable knowledge and training available. I am the ONLY CMI-Certified Master Inspector in the Owensboro area and also a former president of KREIA “Kentucky Real Estate Inspectors Association.

About Kalynn Rice: I want to start by giving you a little background on how I became a Licensed Home Inspector for the state of Kentucky. I come from a construction family and grew up around the construction and inspection world my entire life. Ever since I can remember, I have always enjoyed learning the construction of a home, whether it was helping with digging a footer to sitting on a roof watching my dad put shingles on his house. I attended OCTC, where she obtained a degree of Associate in Arts and an Associate in Science in Medical Coding. I worked in a medical office for two years until I realized I wanted more. I then realized my passion was to be a Home Inspector. I attended the “American Home Inspector Training Program” in Louisville, KY, with 49 hours of classroom time and 16 hours of in-field training, where I received a certificate for the pre-licensing course. I then continued to take the National Home Inspector Exam and am now a licensed Home Inspector in Kentucky. I am the fourth female home inspector in the state of Kentucky, which I consider a huge accomplishment! Since receiving my license, I have become a member of “International Association of Certified Home Inspectors” InterNACHI and received my certification as Certified Professional Home Inspector. I have also been elected and serve on the Kentucky Real Estate Inspectors Association (KREIA) as a Communications Chairperson. I will now be working side by side with Proview Professional Home Inspections
